Four Inspectors, Four Different Backgrounds
The person inspecting your home matters. Pick a name below and get to know the inspector behind the license number before inspection day.
Different Backgrounds, Same Expectations
You should feel comfortable with whoever arrives at the property. Our inspectors bring different experience to the job, but the company standard does not change.

Shaun Bannon
NC License 4895 • SC License 49524
Shaun is a Certified Professional Inspector through InterNACHI in addition to his North Carolina and South Carolina home inspector licenses.
He grew up seeing real estate from the family side before he ever inspected homes professionally
Shaun grew up alongside his father, a dedicated real estate professional, which gave him an early look at what buyers, sellers and agents actually need from an inspection. Today, with more than five years in the inspection industry, he approaches the job with a simple goal: give people enough clarity to make a confident decision about the property in front of them.
As the owner of Bannon Home Inspections, Shaun also sets the inspection and communication expectations the rest of the company works from.

Shawn Flowers
NC License 4897 • SC License 49661
A real-estate guy with years of hands-on systems experience behind him
Shawn bought his first property at 20 and his first investment property at 21. That interest in real estate is backed by five years of HVAC experience and more than twelve years in the structured cabling industry — a background that taught him to pay attention to how systems are installed, connected and actually function.
He brings that experience into inspections across North Carolina and South Carolina with a strong focus on helping clients understand what he is seeing, not simply handing them a report afterward.

John Carruthers
NC License 6017 • SC License 50111
Fire inspection, remodeling, paramedicine and firefighting all shaped the way John approaches a property
Born and raised in the Carolinas, John is an Appalachian State University graduate with a background that includes fire inspection, remodeling and reconstruction, paramedicine, firefighting and even ski guiding. Those different roles have one thing in common: paying attention, communicating clearly and staying composed while working through a lot of information.
John is also a husband, father of two and an active firefighter with the City of Charlotte and Steele Creek Fire Departments.

Dustin “Duck” Gunter
NC License 6388 • SC License 50207
Certified Professional Inspector through InterNACHI.
The Best Proof Is What People Remember After The Inspection
