Radon Gas Testing

Radon is a naturally-occurring radioactive gas in the Carolinas that can cause lung cancer. Radon gas is inert, colorless and odorless. Most radon exposure occurs inside homes, schools and workplaces. Radon gas becomes trapped indoors after it enters buildings through cracks and other holes in the foundation.

Radon testing lasts 48 hours using our continuous radon testers.

Termite Inspection*

Termite inspections search for several critical pieces of evidence to determine if there's any potential issues in a home. Unfortunately, most people do not even notice termites in their house until they've wreaked havoc on your woodwork.

That is why termite examinations are so important. A visual check of the inside and exterior of the home, including crawl spaces or basements, is included in an inspection. Learn more.

Mold Testing/Sampling

Mold growth, if left unaddressed, may swiftly spread and cause structural damage to a home. More importantly, mold may wreak havoc on the respiratory health of those who are susceptible.

Mold testing is done in two ways: air sampling and surface sampling. Both types necessitate testing by a qualified laboratory. Typically, results are available within 3-5 business days of completion. Learn more.

Septic Inspection*

A completely functional and effectively performing septic system is an essential component of many rural properties in North and South Carolina. Unfortunately, for most sellers and potential home buyers, the septic system is the last thing on their minds. Typically, a septic system is not noticed until there is a serious problem.

A properly performed septic inspection will offer valuable information on the state of the septic system at the time of the inspection. Call for more info.

Lead-Based Paint Testing

In general, the older the home, the more probable it has lead paint on and in it. This is especially true for homes built before 1950, yet lead-based paints were commonly used until 1978, when they were prohibited for household use.

This testing can confirm the presence of lead-based paint prior to buying, selling or completing any remodeling projects around a house. Contact us today for more information of geting your home tested for lead-based paint. Call for more info.
